Kapil Mohan, IAS (rtd.)
Chief Advisor
Additional Chief Secretary – Energy Kapil Mohan, a distinguished retired IAS officer, career spanning over few decades in India’s civil service, specialising in Energy, Water Resources, Housing, Highways, Ports, Shipping, Airport Development, and Suburban Rail. Renowned for his leadership in greenfield projects and public-private partnerships, he established key institutions like the India Smart Grid Forum nationally and Karnataka Maritime Board and Karnataka Real Estate Regulatory Authority at the state level. With expertise in law, regulation, and finance, Mohan’s extensive private sector network spans NGOs, IT, and infrastructure. Notably, he led initiatives in Tourism and organized over 17 G-20 meetings during India’s G-20 presidency. A Princeton-educated professional, his accolades include the St. Andrews Prize, LEAD Fellowship, MIT-IFMR award, and recognition as an Eisenhower Fellow. In 2013, he was honored among the 60 transformative fellows in the Eisenhower fellowship’s 60-year history.
Ranjit Prakash

Mr. Ranjit Prakash, the Managing Partner at Archeus Law, brings over 30 years of private legal practice experience. He specializes in providing customized international arbitration counsel and project advice, maintaining an exclusive client base. He has earned a singular industry reputation in handling complex projects, particularly large-scale energy EPC and infrastructure contracts. His extensive involvement in PPP/DBFOT projects across India and Southeast Asia amounts to over $10 billion in value. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he played a notable advisory role, assisting key infrastructure clients and projects in India, Indonesia, and Bangladesh. Preferring conflict resolution and agreement-reaching over litigation, Mr. Prakash provides bespoke international arbitration counsel and project advice to meet the unique needs of his clients.
Prof. Murugesan
Prof. Murugesan holds M.Sc (Engg) and MBA
Managed one of the largest Power Engineering Research Institute under Ministry of Power, GoI as it’s Director General from 22 March 2010 to 21st March 2015 and supervised Research, Consulting and Certification of Electrical equipment as per BIS/ IEC/ IEEE. Expanded Research and Testing facilities to an international level meeting all IEC, IEEE and BIS requirements across India (1200 kV AC and 800 kV DC Systems) across the 7 Units of CPRI. He was a Member/ Chairman in National and International bodies for Testing, Certification and Quality Assurance of Electrical equipment. He was also the Chairman of the National High Power Testing Laboratory (NHPTL), Bina, an On-line High Power laboratory established for High Power equipment by the consortium of utilities viz NTPC, Power Grid, NHPC, DVC and CPRI. He was also a Member/ Chairman of – STLShort Circuit Testing Liaison (STL) – A consortium of High Voltage- Short Circuit High Power Laboratories world over. His prolific contributions include over 1200 published papers and 420 organized conferences, making him an invaluable asset to Hisun Green Power.

Mr. Ravi Varma Rudraraju is younger son of Sri Rudraraju Narayana Raju who was Promoter Director of NCC Ltd (Nagarjuna Construction Limited) and he holds a master’s degree in computer science from Western Michigan, US and Graduate Engineer in Industrial Production from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India. Mr. Ravi Varma’s 18 Years Career path is augmented by working in various Infrastructure and Mining Projects. His professional journey includes execution of Turnkey Projects, Townships, Industrial Structures, National Highways, Flyovers Transmission/Distribution Lines & Substations, Internal & External Electrification, Project Electrification and Mining services.

Mr. Vinod Kondur holds an MBA degree from a prestigious university in India and has established a prominent career in international finance, with notable roles at firms like Morgan Stanley. As a prolific investor and respected board member
in several private equity firms, he specializes in venture funding and has played a key role in developing renewable energy policies for state governments, particularly in boosting investments in Karnataka’s renewable energy sector. With a keen eye for identifying investment opportunities and substantial exposure in the infrastructure domain, he is recognized as a versatile and strategic leader, adept at navigating complex business landscapes and influencing critical decisions.
Surya Penmetsa

Mr. Surya is an Electronics and Communications engineer by training and an entrepreneur by nature, Spent few decades in building tech solutions for enterprises in west and Southeast Asia, His knack in identifying opportunities and rally teams, helped him to build business across tech start-up space, IT Services and reality space. He is an early stage investor of a thriving deep-tech startup with global ambitions to disrupt the way manufacturing industry monitors and maintains their machines to reduce the energy consumption and reduce the greenhouse gases. Surya is also heading an infrastructure and reality business with focus on environmental friendly projects on its portfolio. His contrarian in thinking and systems approach drives long term and sustainable solutions in the business he is involved in.
Vijay Kondur
Director (Projects)
Mr. Vijay Kondur holds a Bachelors degree in civil and a Master’s in Structural Engineering with over 15 years of experience in the field, specialising in residential, industrial, substation, and infrastructure works. Vijay is also an approved Structural Engineer in Dubai Municipality. Throughout his career, Mr. Vijay has played pivotal roles in notable organisations such as AECOM Dubai and EMAAR Dubai, where he served as a Design Engineer. His portfolio includes successful execution of major infrastructure projects, smart city initiatives and the development of WTG foundations.
Bhupathiraju
Finance controller
Mr. Bhupathiraju V S S S Varma holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and an MBA in Finance from Hyderabad. An accomplished Finance Manager with 30+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Proven track record of driving profitability and reducing costs through strategic financial planning and analysis. His vast experience includes an overseas experience as a finance head for a $300 million turnover FMGC company in Tanzania. Adept at developing and implementing financial strategies to mitigate risk and optimize financial performance. He has been associated with the group since 2008.
